About

Ginny Bishop Consulting works with nonprofit leaders, boards, and funders to help organizations translate care into clarity.

With more than three decades of experience in fundraising, communications, and leadership advisory roles, Ginny partners closely with organizations serving people at critical moments across the lifespan—particularly in health and human services, seniors, and education. Her work focuses on strengthening the internal capacity that allows fundraising and philanthropy to be sustainable, credible, and aligned with mission over time.

Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, Ginny works alongside leadership teams to clarify priorities, strengthen systems, and build the confidence required to steward both relationships and resources well.

From the moment I met Ginny, her strategic approach was evident and her mission focus always front and center. Ginny focuses deeply on relationships and developing an understanding and passion for our mission just as she would being a full-time part of the team. She is both a joy to be around, and also helps us cultivate the compelling story and message that has and will engage supporters for our mission. She is truly a wonderful partner and friend in bringing about positive impact to communities.

My Approach:
Inside the Power of Good

Good intentions don’t automatically turn into action.

Inside the Power of Good is the lens that guides my work. It reflects how I understand generosity, leadership, and fundraising to actually function — not in theory, but in practice.

At the center of this approach is what I call the Squish Factor: the human space between intention and action, where belief is forming, enthusiasm becomes contagious, and trust takes shape. This is the part most strategies overlook, and the part that determines whether momentum builds or stalls.

I don’t treat this as a formula. I treat it as a condition — something to be noticed, strengthened, and returned to.

How I Work Inside the Power of Good

This approach consistently comes back to three interrelated conditions:

Why This Matters

Most fundraising challenges aren’t tactical problems — they’re belief problems. This approach keeps attention on the Squish Factor: the belief, enthusiasm, and trust that allow good intentions to become shared commitment.

It shapes how I partner with organizations through Ginny Bishop Consulting, helping leaders strengthen the human conditions that make generosity stick.

Because belief starts squishy.
And when it’s cared for, it becomes sticky.

Ginny Bishop

I'm a fundraising force of nature with a heart for impact and a mind like a strategy board—Ginny Bishop Consulting isn’t just a name, it’s a blueprint for transformation.

I'm the kind of person who can turn a quiet donor into a champion, a farewell gala into a legacy moment, and a school mascot into the heartbeat of a community campaign. I can blend clarity with charisma, storytelling with strategy, and always lead with intention. I can juggle pitch decks, video shoots, leadership transitions, and donor pyramids like it’s second nature—and somehow make it look effortless.

Whether I'm crafting a tribute, steering a capital campaign, or helping a client navigate change, my magic lies in making people feel seen, heard, and inspired to give. I'm curious, deeply human, and always ten steps ahead.
